Visual identity
Brand modernization
We developed a new visual identity that preserves Monte Sul’s tradition and translates its evolution through a proprietary symbol, striking typography, and contemporary language.

How Bull transformed Monte Sul's history, tradition, and hospitality into a strategic visual identity, designed to connect with diverse audiences and strengthen its position in the culinary market.

A staple of Piracicaba’s history since 1998, Monte Sul needed to transform its tradition, hospitality, and culinary authority into a contemporary visual identity capable of connecting different audiences, locations, and business units.
Renowned for its culinary quality and warm welcome, Monte Sul has built a foundation of trust with families, businesses, and multiple generations of customers in Piracicaba.
With operations across different locations and unique value propositions for distinct audiences, the brand needed to structure an identity that maintained unity without ignoring the specific nuances of each branch.
The primary challenge was to modernize communication while preserving fundamental historical elements: Southern Brazilian tradition, hospitality, customer proximity, and culinary authority.
Bull conducted a strategic immersion process to translate these attributes into a consistent brand architecture and a visual identity prepared to support the business's evolution.
Visual identity
We developed a new visual identity that preserves Monte Sul’s tradition and translates its evolution through a proprietary symbol, striking typography, and contemporary language.
Brand architecture
We structured a visual system that connects the institutional brand to the Monte Sul Centro, Monte Sul JK, and Monte Sul for Business units, ensuring both unity and differentiation.
Positioning
We translated Monte Sul’s core attributes — hospitality, trust, warmth, and culinary authority — into visual elements and communication guidelines.
Visual system
We developed logo versions, color palettes, typographies, and graphic elements for applications across social media, packaging, uniforms, labels, and institutional materials.
Bull structured a branding strategy to translate Monte Sul’s history, hospitality, and culinary authority into a consistent brand system, capable of connecting different units, audiences, and growth possibilities.
Pillar 01
We identified the attributes that make Monte Sul relevant to its customers: tradition, trust, warmth, and gastronomic quality.
Pillar 02
We developed a symbol combining a mountain, an arch, and rising lines to represent solidity, hospitality, and the brand's connection to its history.
Pillar 03
We organized Monte Sul’s identity to serve the Institutional, Centro, JK, and Business branches while preserving brand unity.
Pillar 04
We created a complete visual language, including signatures, a color palette, typography, and graphic elements applicable across various contexts.
Pillar 05
We structured a flexible system to strengthen current communication and accommodate potential new products, services, and brand extensions.
We analyzed Monte Sul’s trajectory, value proposition, audiences, operations, and positioning ambitions within Piracicaba.
We established the core identity concepts: Southern tradition, hospitality, trust, culinary authority, and the joy of gathering at the table.
We built the symbol from three elements: the mountain, representing solidity; the arch, translating warmth; and rising lines, expressing movement and human heat.
We developed vertical, horizontal, and monochromatic versions, along with specific adaptations for the institutional brand, the JK unit, and the corporate branch.
We structured a palette using burgundy for the main brand, orange for the JK unit, and teal with gold for the corporate audience, complemented by a proprietary typographic system.
We prepared the identity for use in social media, packaging, labels, uniforms, badges, promotional materials, and potential new business fronts.
“Getting it right the first time isn't luck. It's strategy.”
“It turned out great. I didn't imagine they would nail it on the first try.”
